Norwegian Bliss Review

The Norwegian Bliss is an artistic well designed ship made for love and relaxation.

When you step on the Norwegian Bliss there is an aire of sophisticated design. It reminded me of a contemporary chapel in southern Italy. The ship is large and extremely well balanced. Everything felt as if it was exactly where it was supposed to be.

The grand observation deck can be seen here.

The observation deck was by far my favorite part of the ship. It was also many other people’s favorite as the space was almost always fully packed out.

The Waterfront (deck 8) was our favorite spot during the day and at sunset (besides our room). Even though the ship was near capacity, it never felt crowded. Depending on the time of day, the port side might be sunny and the starboard shady, which always made for a comfortable atmosphere depending on what we were looking for.

Our favorite room is the aft balcony and this room on the Bliss did not disappoint. We stayed in room 10316 between two suites and the view was spectacular. The room is a little more expensive than the minisuite, but worth it in our opinion.

The dining was exceptional. We particularly enjoyed “Los Lobos and the “Q Texas BBQ” spot. I love mexican food and I found the dishes here to be authentic and delicious. the fresh guacamole made at the table was some of the best guacamole I’ve ever tasted. The mole chicken enchiladas were perfect and the chef paired roasted chili peppers as the side

The Mojito bar was our favorite after hours spot where you can get specialty mojitos. Don’t be afraid to ask for something custom, the bartenders there really knew their stuff.

Ocean blue a very romantic restaurant. We were able to get a beautiful window seat. The architecture and ceiling detail was eye catching. Once of the most lauded meals was the lobster pot pie. It was pretty good, but I wasn’t as impressed as most people. The clams were spectacular. The claim chowder wasn’t as good as I would have hoped. I like the cream a little thicker, but flavor wise it was authentic.

The Sum Up

We highly recommend the Bliss. It is currently our favorite ship to cruise on. The highlights were the observation lounge, the entertainment (Jersey Boys was excellent) and of course the GoKart course! No need to ponder, we found quite a few snuggle places around the ship. This is certainly a place for love. Have you sailed the Bliss? Let us know you experience below in the comments.
